吳奇隆遭轟摳門住廉價月子中心 名醫反駁
吳奇隆的老婆劉詩詩，日前在台灣生產。疼老婆的吳奇隆，特地安排劉詩詩住進最高級的VIP房坐月子，一個晚上要價1萬2千元台幣，沒想到大陸網友卻嫌吳奇隆小氣，讓婦產科名醫看不下去，在臉書向吳奇隆道歉說，對不起，是台灣醫療太便宜，讓他被大陸網友罵。

結婚四年，終於迎接寶寶誕生的吳奇隆和劉詩詩，選擇在台灣知名的婦幼診所生產、坐月子，住進最高級的VIP房，一天要價1萬2千元。但大陸網友卻砲轟「吳奇隆摳門」，嫌他給劉詩詩住得太便宜。身為同一間婦幼診所的醫生蘇怡寧忍不住反駁。
蘇怡寧向吳奇隆道歉，「因為台灣醫療太便宜才會害吳奇隆被對岸網友酸」。接著他補充「台灣跟大陸醫療費用差不多，只是幣值不一樣，一個新台幣一個人民幣」，還說有多少大陸人來台灣就醫，就是相信台灣醫療品質。最後不忘稱讚一下台灣好老公吳奇隆，就是懂折扣情報網路熱銷得寵妻才會留在台灣，「果然識貨」！底下網友也跟著附和「大陸花3萬塊才能得到1萬塊服務」，台灣卻是相反的；還有網友說「如果一萬二就算摳門的話，那要其他台灣男人怎麼辦」。
但大陸網友會這麼說，就是因為最近也生寶寶的大陸女星所住的月子中心，一間比一間貴。

5月21號迎接女兒誕生的趙又廷和高圓圓，住的是北京和睦家醫院月子房，平均一天台幣3萬元。趙麗穎、馮紹峰更貴，一個晚上要價5萬元。傳出吳奇隆是為了省錢，帶劉詩詩到台灣生小孩，沒想到有婆媳糾紛，因此得了產後憂鬱症。不過工作團隊透過大陸媒體否認烏龍傳聞。
性格開朗 哥大19歲華生自殺亡
哥倫比亞大學19歲華裔學生吳科克(Kirk Wu，音譯)，11日下午在學生公寓內自殺身亡；他的友人紛紛表示吳科克平時性格開朗，並活躍於各類學生活動，對他自殺感到難以置信，懷疑是因期中考試壓力過大導致。
吳科克是哥大二年級本科生，來自加州巴沙迪那(Pasadena, California)；11日下午1時許，他被發現在位於曼哈頓113街和阿姆斯特丹大道(Amsterdam Ave )的麥克班(McBain Hall)本科生公寓七樓自殺身亡。
據哥大校報「哥倫比亞每日觀察家」(Columbia Daily Spectator)報導，麥克班公寓的一名門衛當天下午發現吳科克在公共衛生間前來回走動，脖子上圍著一條布；過了不久，就發現他自殺身亡。
哥大負責本科生的副校長瓦倫蒂尼(James J. Valentini)在事發後發表聲明，表示吳科克曾是「哥倫比亞經濟評論」的一名編輯，並活躍於校內外的各項活動，平時喜歡觀察鳥類，也是博物館愛好者，還是哥大跆拳道社的成員。
瓦倫蒂尼表示，吳科克的輔導員稱他為「一名性格開朗且常給人帶來歡笑的學生」，而一名接受「紐約郵報」訪問的匿名同學表示，最近期中考試較多，吳科克自殺的原因可能是由於難以承受繁重的課業及考試壓力。
據「哥倫比亞每日觀察家」報導稱，有同學表示，上周才與吳科克聊天，「一起抱怨期中考試的壓力」；還有學生表示吳科克是非常優秀的學生，並稱以他為榜樣；目前，吳科克的社群網站臉書(Facebook)已經變成悼念他的平台。
瓦倫蒂尼在事發後給哥大學生的信中表示，生活和心理輔導中心(Counseling and Psychological Services)將於本周末開放，為學生們提供免費且免預約的服務；他表示，希望學生能充分利用學校心理輔導資源，合理釋放壓力，排解消極情緒，避免更多意外發生。
瓦倫蒂尼也說，哥大心理健康輔導的新網站「健康生活健康學習」(Live Well Learn Well)也已正式啟用，不僅提供心理和精神輔導，還有針對師生的預防自殺培訓等資源，是上個學年經歷一系列學生自殺事件後，哥大改善心理健康服務的眾多舉措之一。
哥大工程學院的華裔研究生高力表示，學校有很多心理健康的諮詢服務，但是最重要的還是學生自己要學會合理釋放壓力，「作業和考試的數量並不會在接受心理輔導之後減少，最重要的還是學生面對壓力的態度和承受能力」。
該校教育學院(Teachers College)的研究生羅柏則說，哥大至少有三個心理健康諮詢中心，並且學校在學生入學時有舉辦講座專門介紹相關資源；他說，近期正值考試周，師生壓力都比較大，雖然心理輔導的作用因人而異，但是一個解決心理和精神問題的重要渠道。
近期紐約各大學學生自殺的案件頻發，紐約大學一名18歲中國留學生本月2日在曼哈頓東村跳入地鐵軌道身亡；今年5月，紐約大學醫學院的一名華裔女學生也在宿舍內上吊自殺。而在2016年底至2017年初，哥大曾有七名學生先後自殺，引起社會關注。
